Aspire To Be All That God Created You To Be

A Legacy To My Daughters, With Love

Sandra Bontemps

“You are a letter from Christ....
written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God,

not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”

2 Corinthians 3:3

“I have no greater joy than to hear
that my children are walking in truth.” 3 John:4

My Dearest Daughter, Granddaughters, My Daughter-In-Love
and Spiritual Daughters of My Heart,

Richly blessed and thankful am I, for you, my beautiful beloved birth daughter, who has given me two precious granddaughters (and two grandsons.) And I am truly blessed by my daughter-in-love.   And how I love all of you, my many wonderful spiritual daughters of my heart, that I have had the distinct honor to mentor throughout my lifetime.

To all of you, I pray that I have deeply and lovingly imparted a lasting legacy of Christ’s love. To love and be loved is one of the most compelling needs that permeate our lives.

I also have a wonderful son and two precious grandsons.  But what I have on my heart to share today is dedicated to my daughters, with much love. And this is a letter also for all you Mothers and Daughters to whom Aspire Ministries is reaching out across the world to give encouragement.   We all write indelible marks upon our children and grandchildren’s tender hearts. What kind of mark are you leaving as you guide your children on their journey of life as they set out on their pilgrimage into the very heart of God, their Creator.

A Mother and Daughter’s relationship is beautiful, compelling, complicated and sometimes very difficult. How much so I was again reminded of this very complex relationship this past Mother’s Day weekend.

Those of you who know me, also know that I have four sisters. Three of my sisters and I celebrated my Mother’s 89th birthday two days before Mother’s Day. Without going into the very personal details, what started out to be a delightful time together turned into a very unpleasant situation. This unfortunately brought back all too familiar childhood memories from our past.

My sisters and I did not always receive our Mother or Father’s unconditional love as children. And as we are all created unique in our own ways, we all reacted differently for sheer survival. You have heard it said so often that how our parents teach us to relate to them, is how we also often learn to relate to God.

I became a people pleaser, trying so hard to earn my Mother’s acceptance and love and it took me many years to understand, overcome and change this. (As Joyce Meyers so aptly puts it, I had “The Disease To Please.”) Each of my precious sisters responded in their own way. And our childhood has left an indelible mark on who we are today.    For many years during my childhood it seemed that nothing my sisters and I did was ever good enough. Therefore I felt unworthy of love. And it made me very insecure and the world to me was a very unsafe place. I didn’t know how to trust people. And I didn’t know how to trust God, until many years later when Praise God! He would give me the Victory in Jesus!

Growing up in a small Baptist church in the forties and fifties, although I heard about the love of Jesus, and received and accepted Him into my heart at the tender age of seven, most of the time our pastors preached “hell, fire and damnation!” And so I was scared to death of both my parents, especially my Mother, and I was afraid of God! I was very fearful of both my Mother’s and God’s punishment if I ever did anything wrong. And at times my Mother’s harsh punishment would be beatings my two older sisters, as she made us younger ones watch. Because she suffered depression, she would go for days and not speak to us, withdrawing her love and attention. As a very young child I could not stand for my Mother to be angry with me. And when I would go to her to try to ask forgiveness for whatever it was I had done, or had not done - And most of the time it was never quite clear to me, she would reject me.    I still remember that when I would try to hug or kiss her, she would push me away and say, “I don’t want any of your ‘Judas kisses!’” I didn’t even know what that meant for many years. And then when I found out about how Judas betrayed Jesus, it even stung me more! Why would a Mother ever even think or say that to her little child? As I became older, I began to understand that somehow my Mother always thought people were betraying her. She had a grave problem with trust because of her own unresolved childhood painful issues.

I knew even as a little girl, that she suffered great depression and she had somehow been very “broken” as a child. And so I also became “a great fixer”. I wanted to help “fix” my Mother, so she would be happy and loving. I even tried to help “fix” things for my sisters, whom I loved very dearly. I wanted desperately to help make up for all the love and nurturing they did not have from our parents. I wanted to protect them. And I even began to protect my Mother from things, because I knew at times she simply could not cope. A child should not be given adult responsibilities or have to handle and face adult situations. And as a child I took on many adult responsibilities.  As so many things around me spun completely out of control, I tried desperately to positively change those things that I possibly could at quite a young age,   In these later years of her life, twice we have had to intervene and take my Mother to the mental ward in hospital, where she has been tested, evaluated and gone through psychological counseling. She has been diagnosed with clinical depression, and paranoid and neurotic mental disorders. So this has explained much of her past behavior to my sisters and me.  And I am so thankful to God that psychologists know more about mental illness today than years ago, so we could get help for my Mother.  And I write this to you, not to show disrespect or dishonor to my Mother, but because people need to learn more about mental illness through education and personal awareness. I write this to encourage those of you that may be facing similar problems with parents or family members.  There is help.  And there is hope.  In Jesus.  And through modern medical technology and science.

Because these things were not discussed openly years ago, many people did not receive help, nor have hope.  I do know that  the enemy stole my Mothers dreams and rich inheritance in Christ. I believe that her life could have been so different all these years, had she understood, believed, accepted and received, the healing power of God’s Holy Spirit, God’s perfect love for her, and Jesus’ amazing redemptive grace! My Mother is a Christian; therefore I believe she has received eternal salvation. But she has never understood that Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection also brought redemption. And she has not known how to be empowered or equipped by God’s Holy Spirit, to live the fullness or righteousness in Christ that God promises to us all! She has never in all her life understood that “The joy of the Lord is her strength!” God is our strength and ever-present help in times of trouble!    Because of this, she has always had a very negative critical spirit. She seldom has gratitude or thanksgiving in her heart. She does not know how to praise, worship and adore Jesus. She does not know how to enter into His Peace! She does not have the Fruits of the Spirit, nor the Gifts of the Spirit. All these years she has never experienced God the way He wants her to and live the abundant life in Him. How the enemy has stolen from her! Because she has believed his lies!   And how the enemy has tried to destroy her and her five daughters, (my four sisters and me!)  I share this again, because I know it will speak to many of you that are allowing the enemy to steal your dreams, hopes and aspirations.

Each time I hear that when our parents grow to old age, that they become the child, and we become the parent, I smile and think that I have always felt like a parent to my Mother, as I was never allowed to be a child. So the enemy did steal many of my dreams. He stole my childhood.

As a very small child, I also became an obsessive “perfectionist’ as well!   I grew up thinking that nothing I ever did was good enough! And I had the constant fear that our Mother would leave and abandon us as our Father did. So that put more pressure upon me to please her. I became this very responsible child. In fact, our Mother placed burdens and responsibilities upon her young daughters that we should not have had to bear. We also thought as children usually do, that somehow all of her unhappiness was our fault!   And I especially, because of my compassionate nature, and great desire to “fix things and make them better and easier” for my Mother, took on even more responsibilities than she pushed upon me, that should have been hers, not mine. A child should never be placed in that position. And then of course, this carried on to my adulthood. For many years I tried to be this “perfect people pleaser.”   I had never been taught, therefore never understood healthy boundaries. And so I became a “perfect enabler” also.

And it has taken me many years to finally establish healthy boundaries. To allow my “yes’s” to be a heartfelt, resounding “YES!” And my “no’s” to be a definite, “NO!” I had never been given that permission! And it took me many years, to finally understand that as adults we are to pray and ask God for guidance and direction, and do His Will. Otherwise in our desire to please others, we allow, and in fact give them permission, to manipulate and control us, afraid otherwise that they will not love us, and will reject us or leave us!”

It is important that I be vulnerable and transparent, (which is sometimes hard for me to do,) and   share this personal testimony with you because I have found this to be a universal problem with so many Mother and Daughter relationships. And this also greatly influences our relationships, or lack of, with our husbands, children, sisters, brothers, family, friends and neighbors.

So many of our fractured lives are still broken. We were not taught or given the deep understanding and knowledge of our Father God’s vast, everlasting and perfect love. And so we go through life, hurt, depressed, aimlessly searching for love, many times in the wrong places. But the biggest problem and the reason we live defeated, broken lives and do not have healthy relationships with others, is because of our broken relationship and lack of intimacy with God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. When we take our problems and past to the Lord, taking care first of all to align our spiritual beings with Him, then PRAISE GOD, He can RESTORE us emotionally, mentally and physically, making us healthy and whole! We can then have healthy, happy, life long relationships.

I am sharing this to give you HOPE, LIFETIME SECURITY AND STABILITY, and ASSURANCE! No matter who you are, no matter what happened in your past, no matter if you did not receive the love and acceptance you so desperately needed as a child, there is HOPE IN JESUS! HE LOVES YOU JUST AS YOU ARE! IMPERFECTIONS AND ALL! He wants you to come to Him, just as you are, to receive eternal salvation and redemption. If you have received salvation, you may not understand your true blood bought redemption.

If you are like me, and your childhood memories do not bring joy and reassurance that you are loved...if you were not nourished and nurtured with love and understanding and acceptance as a child....if you felt then and still feel now that “nothing you ever did or still do is good enough....” I want to tell you that you can not only survive, but you can THRIVE in the LIGHT OF GOD’S LOVE and FAITH IN WHO HE IS AND WHO HE SO LOVINGLY CREATED YOU TO BE!”

And so the other day as we all came together to show our Mother our love to celebrate her birthday and Mother’s Day, when we were once again rejected with such anger, I watched each of my beautiful sisters respond in a natural way, reverting somewhat back as though they were once again children. And I completely understood. And my heart was once again broken to see their pain, anguish and hurt.

“Oh Abba Father!” I cried out! “Help us Father! Because our Mother, whom we still want to be one of the most important persons in the world for us, cannot smile and welcome us into her arms! Instead Father she lashes out and rejects our love! Oh Father! Comfort my sisters! And Father, comfort my Mother. Oh Father! What happened to her in her childhood that makes her reject love that her own daughters so freely and openly try to give to her? How can she reject her daughters, Father, her own flesh and blood?

How can it be that although we are all grown up adults, that she can still hurt us so? Oh Father, I am so sorry to see that my Mother still has not learned in all her 89 years that it is not possible to always be happy, but that it is possible to always have the joy of the Lord as her strength! (Nehemiah 8:10) Oh Father, help her to ask for Your forgiveness! And to learn to forgive all those in her past that have hurt her so deeply!   She is so full of resentment, bitterness and unforgiveness so that she is incapable of loving! She does not have a heart of gratitude! And she does not know how to thank You for all circumstances! She does not know that this will release the supernatural Power of Your Holy Spirit for true healing and wholeness! Spiritually, emotionally and physically!

Oh and Father God. Thank You! I thank You! I thank You that I realize how far You have brought me these past years! Because I was able to forgive! I understand Father, that You created me with such infinite love, wisdom and care. You gave me my very own unique divine design, and You Father are the best and only source for me to go to for direction and guidance. I worship You Father! I Praise You! Thank you for so lovingly and patiently guiding me. Thank You for never letting me go! Even when I ran from You Father, You continued to call me and draw me back to You. You never let me go, because I was your child.

Thank You God that I understand that our created purpose first of all is to love You with all our hearts, souls and minds. Thank You for creating us with the ability to love, as You have so greatly loved us. Thank You that when we understand Who You are, and who we are in You, that we can let Your light shine through us, expressing Your beauty and brilliancy within us. Thank You for Your Amazing Grace, Jesus. Thank You for Salvation and Redemption. Thank You that we can show love and kindness in Your Precious Name. Thank You that we can show compassion, mercy and generosity reflecting the very essence of Your Love, Jesus.

Thank You Father that prayer enlarges my heart. For it is within my heart that I believe in You. (Romans 10:10)   This allows me to be a vessel of love and mercy, and contain Your Gift of Yourself. Thank You that on this “Journey Into Your Heart, God”, this deeper spiritual Holy Spirit pilgrimage You have taken me on these past few years, that as I have been asking, seeking, and knocking, and that You have opened so many doors of greater understanding, and my heart has grown big enough to receive all that You are and that You have called me Your own. “Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage.” Psalm 84:5

Thank You that You have so filled me to overflowing through the Baptism of Your Holy Spirit, and my prayer love language, and in doing so have brought such healing in my life! Thank You for Your Sevenfold Spirit. The holy hunger and healthy fear! Reverence and awe of You! Wisdom and Understanding. Knowledge. Counsel and Might. Thank You for the Gifts of Your Holy Spirit so that I am equipped and empowered to do “all things through Christ Who strengthens me”. Thank You for the gifts to accomplish all the things You created me to do.

Thank You Father, that You have ended this search and deep longing in my heart. I now desire to be loved and accepted for who I am in You. Thank You for affirmation of my inherent worth and value. Thank You Father, that Your vibrant love has permeated my whole being. Thank You Father that You have accepted me as Your Daughter and that I aspire to be all that You created me to be with new found ardor, courage and confidence.

Thank You Father that because You created me with a unique divine design, that you understand me completely, even when others do not. Thank You that You are my source of wisdom and strength. That You Father and Creator of all things that we need, know my individual needs, and you supply my every need! Thank You Father for my birthright of FAITH. YOUR LEGACY OF LOVE TO ME.    Thank You for accepting and loving me because I am Yours!

THANK YOU FOR THE SECURITY AND STABILITY OF KNOWING CHRIST JESUS AS MY LORD AND SAVIOR. HE IS MY SALVATION. HE IS MY STRENGTH. AND HE IS MY REDEEMER! HE IS THE RESTORER OF MY SOUL!

And thank You Father, that recently You have called me Your Daughter of the Revolution! Help me Father to be gentle and wise as a Mother and Spiritual Mother as I help to encourage, impart, guide and direct these beautiful Daughters of my heart, on their own individual journey, teaching them by example, by my actions, with my worship and praise, to first and foremost to worship and love You Lord, with all their heart, soul and strength. (Deuteronomy 6:5-6)

Home is where FAITH begins. Help my daughters Lord, to teach their daughters (and sons) at home about You, Your Word, Your Ways, Your mighty Works, and Your Perfect Will (You have told me that they are inseparable). This will be the foundation upon which they build their faith. Then they will be rooted and grounded in Your Perfect Love, Father. . .Help them to teach their daughters to rejoice in You. Help them to teach their daughters the excitement of having intimacy with You.   Help them to teach their daughters to pray, “Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.”

Help them to teach their daughters to experience You God, their Creator. To feel Your Presence. To hear and know Your voice and experience the supernatural power of Your Holy Spirit. Help them to remember that instinctively little children do hear You Father. Their creative imaginations and open hearts are ripe for Your Holy Spirit to capture. You want to give our children Your Glory. You want our children to pray, praise, worship, stand, live and walk in Your Presence and the power of Your Holy Spirit. You want to give them hope and a future, in Christ alone.

As Becky Fischer wrote, we must teach our children the real Jesus with real power that will give them real joy and a real relationship with You, our Living God, that will completely satisfy the longing and hunger in their souls. What we and our children and grandchildren are hungry for Lord is a true encounter with You! We need to understand that our children and even our babies are capable of comprehending and receiving the deep things of Your Holy Word, Father. We must awaken ourselves to the understanding that we must nurture our children with the things of Your Holy Spirit, if we intend for them to become spiritually healthy, grounded and rooted young Christians. We must teach them how to live, walk, pray, worship and praise You Father and invite Your Holy Spirit to overshadow and cover them. We must teach them Father, that prayer is a relationship and communion with You and that You want to talk to them each and every day.

Your Word teaches us Father God, that where there is no vision the people will perish. We as parents and grandparents need to cast that vision for our children, our grandchildren and to all Generations. The result of lost vision is a life full of dissatisfaction. If we do not pursue our visions then we greatly limit You God. From our visions we want to radiate Your light, power, joy and blessings to others. We need to train, teach, equip, encourage, edify, mentor and help children to understand the empowerment to walk each day with Jesus, and the power of Your Holy Spirit.

We have heard the heart cry of women everywhere. Mothers and Daughters. Sisters and Grandmothers. They are not only calling out for salvation and forgiveness of sin, but for redemption and restoration of Life in the Person of the Holy Spirit of Christ.

In these latter days, Father, You have promised to shower down Your Glory as never before. Our children will be able to sense Your Power and Presence and see healing, signs, miracles and wonders, with the mighty flow of Your supernatural Holy Spirit. This will satisfy their hunger and thirst as they connect to You, our Living God, as never before.

We thank You Father that You are calling forth Your Daughters of the Spiritual Revolution! You are calling forth, men, women and children, into Your Presence. You are sending down Your Kingdom Power and Glory in greater ways than ever before, as You promised to do.

“Get up! Cry out at night; every hour on the hour. Pour your heart out like water in the Presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to Him (in prayer, thanksgiving, worship and praise.) For the life of your little children who faint from spiritual hunger at every street corner.” Lamentations 2:19

“The Kingdom does not consist of persuasive words’ of mans wisdom, but with the demonstration of the Holy Spirit and the power of God.” I Corinthians 2:4    We must visualize our babies, our children, our grandchildren as mighty prophets and prayer warriors, God. We realize that through You, by You and with You, they have the ability to experience anything and everything that You want to make available to them, so they may walk forth in their divine destiny. You have given them Kingdom power and authority to demonstrate the Love of Christ, His Amazing Grace and His Awesome Resurrection Power.

You have said that in the latter days old men will dream dreams and young men will have visions. And that You will pour out of Your Spirit great signs, miracles and wonders like never before seen or heard. And You are sending us out as Your disciples, to proclaim Your Word, and heal the broken hearted, breaking bondages of sin and generational curses. You will bring Beauty from Ashes (Isaiah 61). You will change lives, mend hearts and restore souls.

And we claim healing spiritually, emotionally and physically to Your daughters (and sons) everywhere, all across this nation and to foreign nations, everywhere this Aspire message goes out, Father, resounding around the World, to the four corners, North, South, East and West,   in Your Sweet Name. You have told us Father, that Your Word will not return void.   We decree and proclaim by the authority and power within us Father, through our blood bought inheritance, in the Precious Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, healing, spiritually, emotionally and physically! We take back our dreams that the enemy has stolen from us! We take back our rich inheritance in You.

In total surrender, in obedience, willingly and lovingly we submit to You Heavenly Father. We will rise up. We will teach Your little children how to receive the fresh breath of You Lord. The wind of Your Holy Spirit. So that they may “Live and move and have their being in You.”Acts 17:28

We join in unity and pray for Your sevenfold Spirit, so that we will always look outside ourselves to You, God in total reverence and awe, and receive wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, and might. We receive and proclaim Your mighty Spiritual guidance and direction as we pass on the eternal flame of Your Love to future generations.

We are the “Guardians of the Gate”. We are Gatekeepers of the true riches of our families and we need to always rely on You, Father God, keeping our spiritual hearts and minds open to You, inviting the guest of Your Holy Spirit, and welcoming the Presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, so that we may be a steadfast welcoming presence, an anchoring place in the world, a safe harbor, for our children. We love You Lord. We praise You and give You all honor, glory and power.

A PRECIOUS, PERSONAL ACTIVATION ESPECIALLY FOR YOU

If you precious one need health and healing from painful relationships in the past I want you to do this right now. I want to take you back to your past. When I am speaking and giving this message to women everywhere, I have beautiful sacred music playing. Since I am not there speaking in person to you today, go and put on one of your favorite Christian instrumentals. Allow yourselves to relax, soak, and think about how much God loves you. Be renewed and refreshed in His Presence. Fill His Glory surround You. He will cover You. He will overshadow You. He loves You with a perfect, everlasting love. He wants to speak to you. And He wants to heal you from all your hurt, pain and grief.

He wants you to look once again at the past, but not the hurtful things of your past. He wants you to forgive all those whom have hurt you. And He wants you to know that He forgives you of your past! Just ask Him and He will forgive you and then He will throw your sins into the Sea of Forgetfulness, never to be remembered again. And He wants you to forgive yourself. For not feeling you were quite “good enough”. It is not what you do, but who you are, who He created you to be, that He loves. You are worthy. He wants to give you great confidence.   He does not want you to limit Him. And He does not want you to limit yourselves!

Now, close your eyes. Think back to the very first memories you have as a little girl. What were you like then? You remember who you are. You remember who God made you to be! What do you remember about yourself? Look all around you. Where are you? What do you look like? Is anyone with you? Are you in a safe place? Do you feel loved? Or do you feel rejected? Are you afraid? Is this a good memory? Are do you feel very alone and misunderstood?

What were you dreaming to be when you grew up? What did you want more than anything? God placed those dreams and desire within you. He created you and placed within you all that you needed to be, the beautiful, confident woman of God He desires you to be! He equipped you with special individual gifts and talents. He created you to love Him, and to show His love to all around you.

Now think about the person or circumstances that stole your dreams. Who stole your dreams, when you were a very precious little child? Who stole your dreams when you were a young woman? Did you lose sight of who God made you to be? Did you believe all the lies that the enemy told you? Were you very insecure and afraid? Were you not confident to live out your dreams? Or did no one understand your dreams? Did you not have the support of your parents to accomplish what you knew in your heart you were meant to do? Or did your parents want to recreate and live their lost dreams in you? Did they push you to become what they wanted you to be, instead of what God wanted you to be? Were your dreams and aspirations never understood?

You can take back those dreams! You can reclaim what the enemy stole from you! No matter what you have been through, no matter where you have been, no matter who hurt you, no matter what happened in your past, you can reach out and claim sweet Victory in Jesus today! It does not matter WHAT happened in your past, or WHY. The important thing is that NOW, in the present, Jesus can heal, restore, and bless you abundantly, so you may live in the fullness and righteousness of Jesus, as God has promised.

If you are reading this and do not know Jesus, you can receive Him as Your personal Savior and make Him Lord of your life today! He and He alone, can change your life completely and forever, if you will ask Him to come into your heart.

So now precious one, pick up that child that is you.    Pick up that little girl. Hold her in your arms and love her! Hold her and nurture her! Comfort her! Tell her that she is loved. Have you not loved yourself enough? God wants you to love yourselves as He so greatly loves you! He loves you so much that He sent His only Son to die for you!

Now start walking forward with that little girl, safe, in your arms. Or take that little girl by the hand. And look, look up ahead! There is Jesus! Look and see Him! He is there looking at you with such compassion, acceptance and love. Look into His Glorious Face. Look into His eyes of mercy.

Now walk with that little girl who is you, and go to Jesus. He is waiting patiently and lovingly for you. He wants to hold you in His arms. He wants to show You His great love for you. See, He is holding out His arms to welcome you. He has been waiting a long time for you to bring all your cares, concerns, worries and problems to Him. He cares for you. He alone can satisfy that hunger and longing in your soul. HE ALONE, and ONLY HE can give you the love you have been searching for all your life! Only Jesus.

See His nail scarred hands? He died for you. His Father God sent Him to earth so that He could go to the Cross of Calvary for you! Especially for you! You are loved. You are accepted. You are worthy! You were brought by the precious blood of the Lamb! Jesus stepped down from God’s Glory and stepped into our world. You have a rich inheritance in Him!   With Jesus you can take back what the enemy stole from you! You can have peace that surpasses all human understanding. He can fill you with love, joy and grace.

Jesus can take you from the natural and familiar to supernatural spiritual realms. He will give you the Glory that His Father gave to Him. This is transforming Glory! Step into that Glory with new vigor, confidence and commitment. Accept God’s promises and blessings for you.

Jesus is calling you forth! You are God’s Beloved Daughter!. You are the Bride of Christ. Jesus is calling you for a walk, a new life, of personal holiness and purity. “As you have received, so walk.” Colossians 2:6

The ultimate purpose of our salvation is that we might live for God’s pleasure and to His Glory, exalting Christ Jesus. In a dream months ago, God knighted and called me “Joshua”. My partner, Janis and I were standing in the Great White Throne Room of God. At first I could not see anything but His Light. We both had on the full silver armor of a knight, and when we could adjust our eyes, the only things showing from our knights helmets, I saw God standing at His Throne. He called us forth. And then he took a great silver sword with a crimson red-jeweled stone in the center of the handle, and He touched my shoulder. And He called me Joshua. Janis was beside me and He touched her shoulder with the sword, and called her Timothy. I smiled thinking that God had given us men’s names.   We have never been the same since.

God wants to fill your heart, soul, spirit and mind with hope, joy and blessings beyond any of your dreams from your past! He wants you to take back your rich inheritance in Christ. And He wants you to posses the Promised Land that He has promised.

This is God’s divine order for your personal victory and success in life. Joshua told God’s people that not one thing had failed of all the good things that the He spoke concerning them. ( Joshua 23:14) What confidence, courage and boldness this should inspire within us, as God’s beloved daughters!

God told Joshua to tell the people that He would never break His covenant with them. And in this dream/vision, as God commissioned and called me Joshua, precious women, I come before you to tell you that He wants you to take back your rich inheritance in Him! He wants you to possess the Promised Land! He wants you to live for His pleasure, in His Glory, and He wants to bring down His Glory from Heaven, the Glory of Jesus’ Cross, and fill you with His Glory, so you can spread the Light of His Glory to all those you meet, to further His Kingdom and win the lost to Him.

Jesus promised us that He would give us the Glory His Father gave to Him. As Christian women, Jesus lives within us. And Jesus told us also that God would send His Holy Spirit to empower and equip us to do greater things than He! Just think of that for a moment! We can be filled with His Holy Spirit! Resurrection Power!   So arise, daughters! Arise and shine, for His Light has come! (Psalm 60:1) You can let His Light shine, as He fills you with His Glory, and bring Him honor and glory forever and ever.

What we need today ladies, is for God’s people to accept His covenant promises with great faith. He wants us to accept Victory in Jesus. If we as Christians will truly believe, receive and profess that Jesus is our Lord and Savior and the Light of our Salvation, and walk in the joy of the Lord and the power of His Holy Spirit, we will truly demonstrate the radiance, beauty and brilliancy of God. And He will be unlimited in His capacity to use us for His Glory and Honor.

I love what Chuck Pierce said, “God is raising up faith-filled women who have the Word of God in their mouths - Women who will speak the kind of wisdom that causes preplanned paths of destruction to be turned around and redeemed.” What the enemy meant for harm can be turned around for your good! What the enemy tried to steal from you in the past can be redeemed by the precious blood of the Lamb! Praise God!

Remember this precious ones!  Even if you cannot reclaim your dreams, God can do far more than you ever dreamed or imagined in your lives! He knows the plans He has for you. He alone can give you hope. Your hope is in HIM!   I pray that you will develop a close intimate relationship with Jesus. He is your greatest friend and lover of your soul. As you spend more time with Jesus, God will give you greater availability to the supernatural power of His Holy Spirit. This will enhance your own personal individual calling -Your divine design and the purpose and plan God created you to fulfill.

I pray that you will be healed spiritually, emotionally and physically, so you may grow in faith, confidence and assurance of God’s everlasting perfect love for you.

I pray that you will stay in God’s Word, and stay in constant prayer, so you may grow more spiritually mature in faith, and pass a mantle from one generation to the next, so they will understand and know God’s great love for them, and His calling upon their lives.

I pray that you may discover and understand your spiritual gifts for your next level of anointing. And I pray that God will use me and the women of Aspire Ministries, to help stir up these gifts and callings as we stand as Guardians of the Gate, as you begin to practice the mighty wonderful Presence of God and the awesome Supernatural Power of His Holy Spirit.

Precious Women everywhere across our great Nation of America, and to all the Nations around the world, that we have reached, as a Mentor I impart a special blessing to you. I pray that God will open your spirit hearts, minds, eyes, ears and souls and give each of you Holy revelation, wisdom, knowledge and understanding. And a holy hunger and thirst to know Him more! To know the fullness of His Love. The Amazing Grace of Jesus. And the Power of Jesus’ Resurrection. Pray that You will know Him more!

So Dear Daughters of My Heart... Know, believe and receive that you really are among those God has called and chosen.  "Be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so and entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." 2 Peter 1:10-11

Get Ready! Get Ready! Get Ready!

“Arise, shine. For your light has come!

And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

You shall know that I, the Lord, am Your Savior,

And Your redeemer,

the Mighty One.

The Lord will be your everlasting light.

Also your people shall all be righteous;

They shall inherit the land forever.

The branch of My planting.

The work of My hands,

That I may be glorified.”

Isaiah 60:1, 16b, 19b, 21

“As You sent Me into the world,

I have also sent them into the world..

That the world may know that You have sent Me,

and have loved them as you have loved me.

“ John 17:18, 23

“Beloved. Let us love one another,

for love is of God;

and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.”

In this the love of God was manifested toward us,

That God has sent His only begotten Son into the world,

That we might live through Him.

In this is love, not that we loved God,

But that he loves us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Beloved if God so loved us, we also ought go love one another.

No one has seen God at any time.

If we love one another, God abides in us,

And His love has been perfected in us.

By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us,

Because He has given us His Spirit.

And we have seen and testify that the Father

Has sent the Son as Savior of the world.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the son of God,

God abides in him and he in God.

And we have known and believe the love that God has for us.

God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.”

John 4:7-16

A Personal Epilogue

As my sweet sisters and I left my Mother the other day, my baby sister said, “This happens each time! Each time I come I think it may not happen. But then it happens again. And I say each time I will not go back and see Mother. And my husband asks, ‘Why do you go back then?’” Each of my other two sisters nodded thoughtfully. And I was able to stand in their presence and before the Presence of God, and say, “We go back because it is the right thing to do. Because it is what God would have us do.”

No matter what pain or hurt our Mothers’ and Fathers’ may have caused us as children, or continue to cause us, God’s Word gives us a commandment, with a promise. “Honor your Mother and your Father, that your days may be long.”

And there also comes a time precious women that we may need to look at our Mothers and understand also, that they are not perfect. Perhaps they actually did the best they could under the circumstances. This is not to excuse them. But neither does it excuse us, as adult women, wives and mothers.   We cannot blame our parents for the things that we do. There comes an age of accountability. We all have to take the responsibility for our own actions. Our own lives. And instead of clinging to our past heartaches with a “poor me” victim mentality, and blaming everyone and every thing for our failures, or unhappiness we need to claim sweet victory in Jesus. And instead of clinging to others and expecting them to meet our unhealthy needs of unrequited love, we can turn to God’s love, and lean on the everlasting arms of Jesus, because He knows and provides our every need.

And if you are a Mother, understand also that your daughters (and sons) are not perfect. Teach them to live a life of excellency for Jesus, instead of expecting them to be perfect. Demanding perfection from your children, places such unhealthy and burdensome expectancy on them to perform and please others. And they will become “people pleasers” instead of God Pleasers!

I taught my son and daughter that God gave them to me as precious gifts. And that He did not give them to me to live up to my expectations, but to HIS! And I taught them that they could do all things through Christ, who strengthens them, and that with God all things are possible, to those who love Him and heed His Word. This builds true lasting healthy self confidence and courage.

And precious ones, you can have joy unspeakable, when you realize that no matter how much some of your parents may have rejected you, and how much you have been wandering lost, lonely and in a never ending, aimless search for love, if you will just turn to God, He will love you with an everlasting, perfect love. And no matter if your Mother or Father abandoned you, God has promised never to leave or forsake you! He will always be with you no matter who you are or where you go. He promises never to let you go, even if you have wandered far away from him! He promises to make all things new! He can give you a new heart and a new life in Him. He wants you to have the mind of Christ. He can transform your life right now!

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.”

 II Corinthians 5:17

I thank God each and every day for my beautiful daughter, my granddaughters, (and grandsons), my daughter in love, my spiritual daughters, nieces and my sisters. I lift you up always to Him in prayer and supplication. May He hold you all in His loving arms forever. May you find great courage and confidence in Him.    We are all bound together in the family of God, with such deep, intrinsic, abiding love. God has woven us together, a beautiful tapestry, with all the different hues and colors of His amazing love and grace. Nothing will ever sever our relationship.

My prayer is that God will continue to use ASPIRE MINISTRIES messages to encourage you to continue to discover God’s divine will, purpose and design for your lives. And that God’s infinite beauty will completely enfold and surround your entire being.

As you continue to grow in Christ, may you “constantly be transformed into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another...” 2 Corinthians 3:18.

I encourage you to yield to God during times of change, letting go of the things that lie behind in order to take hold of the wonderful new things He has waiting for you. Discover the joy of praying and interceding for others. Stay in fervent effective prayer and in His Word. God’s Word tells us that “Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world.”

Recognize that obedience is the response to faith.   Know that obedience to God’s Word gains a new nature of holiness and purity. The Word of God illuminated by the Holy Spirit is the only true means for transforming the human heart. Understand that obedient faith releases Holy Spirit power to accomplish anything. Also thanking God for ALL circumstances, releases Holy Spirit power to do the impossible, God’s creative wondrous miracles.

Remember that you have come from God. You belong to God. You are loved by God. And you are very important to God.    David said in the Psalms, “Oh God, You have declared me perfect in Your eyes.”

Understand the power of forgiveness. It is then that real loving is free to begin. Recognize that love and forgiveness are binding and obligatory for believers. Love and forgiveness are choices you make. They have nothing to do with your feelings. Love others unconditionally, as God loves you. By this all men will know that you are His disciple and this love given freely will draw women and men to God.   We are called as His Love Warriors, mighty women of God!

Recognize and remember that you are free from sins demands! You have been bought, redeemed and transformed by Christ’s blood.

Choose to live by God’s Holy Spirit. Proclaim the gospel boldly. Release the creative power of God’s Word by believing it in the face of challenging circumstances.

Live in a manner that strengthens the weak in faith. Commit to live your lives in UNITY and the uplifting of others. Live with humility, meekness, forgiveness, purity, faith and love. Ask God for the fruit of His Holy Spirit. And ask Him for the gifts of His Spirit.

Find that resting place in God’s Presence. Find that place in God so He can allow you to know your giftings. Know your calling. Know your divine destiny in Him.

Understand what it means to walk by faith. And walk and obey. You will then begin to see the exciting mysteries of life because of God’s supernatural power working within your heart and soul. More importantly, others will see the very essence and beauty of Jesus love, reflected within you.

If we live in this way, we will have more churches full of strong, vibrant, healthy women. Homes will be filled with forgiveness, kindness, and love, and we’d see faces glowing from the exquisite beauty of God’s love. Marriages will be saved. Fewer women and men will need counselors. And more people will come to know Christ. Our children and grandchildren’s world will be a happier, healthier place. A haven of rest and quiet peace. A sanctuary for their souls.

COME HOLY SPIRIT! POUR OUT YOUR SPIRIT UPON US

And the Spirit and the bride say, COME!

And let him who hears say, COME!

And let him who thirsts come.

Whoever desires let him take the water of life freely.”

Revelation 22:17

Come Holy Spirit. Come.

Fill us Holy Spirit.

Fill us to overflowing.

Refresh us. Renew us. Transform us.

Let us drink from the water of life that flows so freely.

Free us Lord Jesus.

We take back our rich inheritance in You.

We take back what the enemy has stolen from us.

We take back our dreams.

We take back Your plans for us.

We take back Your Purpose.

Our Divine Destiny.

Our Divine Design.

We want to be filled to overflowing with Your love, Your power and Your might.

So that others will see Jesus in us

And so that we may help further Your Kingdom, Lord

For such a time as this.

You are calling us forth

Daughters of Divine Destiny

You are calling us forth

Daughters of Your Spiritual Revolution

We hear You call

Come! Come! Come!

Let all who are thirsty

And all who are weak

Come to the fountain where deep calls out to deep

Even so Lord Jesus come quickly

Quickly

Fill us

Fill our cups Lord

We lift them up Lord

Come and quench this hungry thirsting in our souls

Breath of Heaven

Feed us til we want no more

We drink in Your love

We drink in Your mercy

We drink in Your power

Flow! Flow! Flow!

Let us glow with Your radiant beauty

Let us glow with Your Shakinah Glory

Let us go forth in Your Mighty Name

Overshadow and cover us Lord

Let us go forth in Your Name

Bring us fresh new anointings

“So we may preach good tidings to the poor

Help to heal the brokenhearted

Proclaim liberty to the captives

And the opening of the prison to those who are bound

To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord

To comfort all who mourn

To console those who mourn in Zion

To give them beauty for ashes

The oil of joy for mourning

The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness

That they may be called trees of righteousness

The planting of the Lord

That He may be glorified.

Lord God,

Cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations." Isaiah 61

Fill us up Lord Jesus

So we may be filled to overflowing

Vessels of love and mercy

As we reach out touching women across our nation, and throughout the world

For their healing spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Help us all Lord

To aspire to be all that You created us to be

We know that all gifts, anointings and mantles

Come forth from You, Father

To move and bring evangelistic healing forward.

We pray as we mentor and encourage the next generation

That they will soar and fly higher in Your power and might

So Your Glory may cover the Earth.

As parents, we pray for You to bless our children and grandchildren

So they may walk in Your Sonship.

We pray that You will break all past generational curses

And redeem, restore and realign our family trees.

We renounce generational lines that were not rooted and grounded in Your Love.

Reach deep and purify our hearts and minds,

Cover us with Your Precious Blood.

Reach out to women everywhere around the world

And give them true Freedom and Liberty in Christ!

We thank You for Your infinite grace, protection, mercy and love.

We give You all power

All honor

And may Your Holy, worthy Name be glorified.

Forever

Amen

We drink You in!

We welcome You!

Thank You Lord Jesus!

We lift up our hearts in gratitude and thanksgiving to You

As we humbly bow before You

In praise, worship and adoration.

As I sat on one of Sandra's white leather couches in her wonderful "treehouse" on SIgnal Mountain, I began to see a vision of the sands of time as she eloquently read from her heart this precious Legacy to all of us.  She asked me to share this moment with you:

SANDS OF TIME

Janis Smith

It was a beautiful, warm, blue sky, sunshine day at the beach. The sky was a rich royal blue and the glow of the sun was like a blanket of love. I could hear the great sound of the waves crashing onto the shore and the wind gently blowing on my face. The salt air gently touched my lips and left the taste of the salt air. I felt as though I was there not only in spirit but the vision was so real that I felt as though I was there in the flesh.

As I continued to feel, touch and taste in the spirit,  my view of the vast beach changed from this panoramic view to an area much smaller . I saw a young woman  walking the beach and leaving footprints in the sand. I could see only the bottoms of her rolled up blue jeans and her bare suntanned feet. As she placed each foot gently on the sand she left  behind a shallow print. As she walked along, the rolling tide of the Holy Spirit would billow up and flow to the shore leaving a clean slate of sand as far as the eye could see.  The past was gently being erased and the only prints that remained were those she just stepped out of. Then another wave would gently roll onto the shore and erase the prints again. It seemed as though the only prints she had were those she was making each moment. And so it is with us. Yesterday is gone and it is our decision to let go of the past and let the waves of the Holy Spirit overshadow us today.

Then as I continued to watch, I began seeing as if through her eyes. I began looking forward. I understood as I saw the beautiful red glow of the sun that her eyes were not on her feet nor were they looking back on her past but she was looking at the sun and walking towards it. And so dear friend as we step into the sands of time, we know that the Holy Spirit is with us gently moving on our behalf as we walk towards the Son. " In Him we live and move and have our being." Acts 17:28

Blessings, joy, peace, grace and love,

Sandra and Janis
