Open The Door

Janis Smith
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The LORD strong and mighty,
The LORD mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
1 Who is this King of glory?
The LORD of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah
Psalm 24:10
Kneeling in the throne room of the Most High God
The Secret Place where He whispers revelation and love
Filled with the aroma of His presence
Burning with fire
Bright and beautiful
Colors of the Rainbow,
Sounds of great clapping of thunder as the lightning flashes
I look at Him and he shows me
So many rooms I haven’t entered
Open the door won’t you open the door I sing softly to the King
We sing a duet, He echos my song
Open the door won’t you open the door, Open the door
I don’t know which one He is singing about
Don’t know which one I’m singing about
His piercing eyes of love and fire, head tilted slightly forward
Pointing to the gate that is opened wide
I can see light calling me from inside that doorway
Archway close to the ground,
big as a thimble arrayed with tiny baby’s breath
I look at Him and He looks at me with encouraging eyes
An angel comes to me and pours the spices of heaven upon my head
His aroma overtakes me
The overshadowing of His Glory
He puts a scroll in my mouth and I eat of the Honey of heaven
Each step I take toward the door I can hear my song
As I reach the entrance I am amazed that my spirit can now go through
Stepping in, Jesus whispers to me as I see the twinkle in His eye
Enjoy the journey, there’s MORE.
